Maryland SAFE (Maryland Small Association Forum for Executives) is a complimentary executive peer roundtable for small-staff association executives. The roundtable, sponsored by ASAE's Small Staff Association Committee (SSAC), is a free-flowing discussion around the most pressing issues facing association executives with 10 or fewer employees. This forum allows for collaboration of like-minded executives to address their unique issues in a collegial peer setting. Cal Clemons, CAE, CMP, ASAE Consultants Section Council member, & President of Catharsis LLC, will facilitate this gathering.
Maryland SAFE meets every few months around Baltimore, Maryland, to discuss a variety of thought leadership topics, generate best practices among participants and create a valuable cadre of professional resources.
Note about participation: SAFE is intended to provide a safe space for small-staff association executives to discuss their challenges with other small-staff association executives. Non-member small-staff association executives are invited and welcome to attend one (1) SAFE meeting, but should they choose to participate in future SAFE gatherings it is requested that they join ASAE. Up to three non-association executives may attend this meeting.
The March 2013 Maryland SAFE meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 19th at The Chesapeake Arts Center, 194 Hammonds Lane, Brooklyn Park, MD 21225, from noon - 2:00PM ET. Due to space constraints, we can only accept 20 in-person registrants.
