NOVA SAFE (Northern Virginia Small Association Forum for Executives) is a complimentary executive peer roundtable for small-staff association executives. The roundtable, sponsored by ASAE's Small Staff Association Committee (SSAC), is a free-flowing discussion around the most pressing issues facing association executives with 10 or fewer employees. This forum allows for collaboration of like-minded executives to address their unique issues in a collegial peer setting. Shira Harrington, ASAE Membership Development Committee member, and Founder & President of Purposeful Hire, Inc., will facilitate this gathering.
NOVA SAFE meets every third month in alternating Northern Virginia locations to discuss a variety of thought leadership topics, generate best practices among participants and create a valuable cadre of professional resources.
Note about participation: Up to three non-association executives may attend this meeting. SAFE is intended to provide a safe space for small-staff association executives to discuss their challenges with other small-staff association executives. Non-member small-staff association executives are invited and welcome to attend one (1) SAFE meeting, but should they choose to participate in future SAFE gatherings it is requested that they join ASAE.
The November 2012 NOVA SAFE meeting will be held on Thursday, November 14th at 815 North Royal Street, Alexandria, VA 22314, from 3:00 - 4:30pm ET. Due to space constraints, we can only accept 15 in-person registrants.
